MP3 Audio of the Endowment

Below are the recordings on which the two mmost recent transcripts on this site are based. The first one was done by Larry Cozad (Jr?) in 1984 at the Provo, Utah temple. The second one, as far as I know, was made by a person who wishes to remain anonymous, shortly after the changes went into effect in the spring of 1990. Other than updates to the anointings done right before the endowment, there have not been any changes made, at least that are known publically.

I'ld like to thank HelpingMormons.org for origionaly making these recordings available on the internet. If for some reason you have problems downloading the audio here, drop me a note and let me know.

As far as I know, these recordings are public domain. Feel free to pass them around to your friends, burn them onto cds, put them on your website, share them any way you want to share them.

Don't forget to check out the Comparison transcript. It's a color coded transcript that details all the changes, some of which are rather subtle.

  1. 1984 recording by Larry Cozad
  2. 1990 recording by an anonymous person

If you have any problems downloading the above files, you can also down them in several formats at The Internet Archive:
